After Epic games has done so much to improve chapter 5 it still feels like they're missing a few details as to what the community wants from this game. I want to break down a few things for them to help Epic understand what players actually want from Fortnite.

Fortnite as a game is better than it has ever been before. The problem is the player base. Unless you’re spending hours a day on this game practicing edits and box fighting then you really don’t have much chance of winning any games. Epics match making system is so poor as well. I got 5 kills (all bots) and then the next game I was in the sweatiest lobbies I have ever experienced. It doesn’t make any sense. It’s a bit like playing division 8 on fifa, winning one game and then being promoted to division 1, it wouldn’t make any sense.

The last new trap we got was armoured walls in 2021 and before that the fire traps in 2020. Armoured walls added such a unique style of fighting in builds.

Why don't Epic add MOD benches as an item where you throw it down and and can destroy it to turn it back into an item. This could be an epic item but maybe only has 5 uses

I also think that starting in chapter 2 but really kicking into high gear in chapter 3 onward, they betrayed the original concept of the game and it essentially became a testing ground for the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. As seen with the shift to realism over the classic cartoony look, the introduction of sprinting/mantling/sliding which make building less essential, the first-person scope on non-sniper weapons, and abandoning innovative vehicles for more boring ones, which started as early as chapter 2. Chapter 1 had shopping carts, balloons, pirate cannons, planes without fuel, volcano vents, slipstreams, rift-to-gos, ATKs, and shadow bombs for mobility, which are all so much more charming than only having two different types of cars.

my main problems with fortnite
- way to many collabs happening at once (i dont mind the collabs if anything i like them its just annoying when they have like 3 collabs running at the same time)
- the map is TOOO diverse, i feel like we need more than 1 biome but having more than 3 or 4 is just way to much, and the map has WAY to much going on at once like there is no need to have all these crazy diffrent wepons that are so unbalanced and stuff at the same time
- the horrible battlepasses i feel like ever since chapter 3 started the battlespass have just became complete dogshit and none of the skins or emotes r good.
- the movement the movement is so unbareable and i cant stand crouching so slowly
- the new UI, its so annoying and i dont understand WHY they would change it because im sure 99% of the players were just fine with the old UI and it was just so much easier to navigate and now its just such a mess
- the item shop has way to much stuff and its a pain to look through it to find anything you want

At the beginning of this season u were letting ur bias not allow ur creative thoughts to flourish. While I still don’t like the season I can respect that u like the season while at the same time acknowledging why others don’t instead of writing us off. This title could not be MORE TRUE! Fortnite fully lost its Identity as soon as it became a Multi Game Mode F*CK FEST! This is why Donald Mustard left, because instead of Focusing on the Story, the Events and what made Fortnite what it was…they wanted to turn their game into a META VERSE type Game. The new Summer update just Speaks how LITTLE they care about Fortnite as a Whole. And it makes me very upset. I Just want Fortnite back 😢

As a casual I feel obligated to defend this season no matter what even though they have been screwing casual players over ever since the end of the first week.

At this point, with the Magneto gloves, the cars just feel like an afterthought. They're just as useful as they were in any other season, as a rotation method. You might as well be shooting out the windows at this point for all the value the vehicular combat has.

Still, that was a solid half a season of actual vehicular mayhem and I'll never forget it. RIP Wrecked. You will be dearly missed.
