The real sad part, The Beatles idolized Elvis, John Lennon covered "Hound Dog" in his 1972 New York concert and in between the verses he says, "Elvis, I love ya". Paul and Ringo have covered Elvis' music.

The Beatles are better than anything Elvis have done. They’ve made a lot of my favorite albums of all time and they’re the reason why so many genres in styles of music exist today. They really are one of the original blue prints.
