*How to Remove Gridlines from Specific Cells in Excel*

Those iconic spreadsheet boxes are the gridline. gridlines are the faint lines that appear around cells on a worksheet. These lines help to visually distinguish and organize data in rows and columns. Gridlines make it easier to read and understand the layout of your spreadsheet, especially when you have a large amount of data.
If you want you can show, hide and print gridline in excel. But there is a problem. There is no built-in solution to remove gridline in excel but we are about to learn a workaround.

Follow the procedures below to remove gridlines from specific cells in excel without any formula and vba. Also, we’ll be able to remove those specific gridlines from the print also.

*Procedure 1:*
*Step 1: Select the cell or cells from where you need to remove the gridlines
*Step 2:* Under the home tab click on fill color dropdown.
*Step 3:* Select white as fill color.
Done. Now those gridlines are removed. You won’t be find those in your worksheet as well as printed copies.

*Procedure 2:*
*Step 1: Select the cell or cells from where you need to remove the gridlines
*Step 2:* Under the home tab click on "Merge & Center".

Done. Now those gridlines are removed. You won’t be find those in your worksheet as well as printed copies.
