Ok, but can i make one cell a specific width without merging or changing the width of other cells above or below it? If i merge a cell, but its too big, then the only way to modify it is by also changing the width of the cells above and below it.

@Ricoshade Cole you misunderstood the comment below. He doesn't want to be limited by merging the cell because that only gives you a bigger cell by x amount (depending on how many you merge ). Once you merge it, its true that you can re adjust it, but once again you run into the same problem, that if you change that cell, the cells around it also change..
