Everest 2024 Rush - 2 Climbers Died Descending From The Summit.

With the arrival of good weather, the flood of summits has begun on Everest. Climbers report endless lines while Base Camp is virtually empty.
Tsedendamba and Lkhagvajav of Mongolia were determined to climb Everest without supplementary oxygen or sherpa support. They made the summit –although they resorted to oxygen in the end — but they paid for their success with their lives, dying on the way down.

IF you are lucky enough to summit Mt. Everest, you are only half-way through your dangerous excursion, you STILL must descend through the same dangers that you did on ascending. The Death Zone is NOT for amateur climbers. The mountain is not extremely difficult (it is far easier than the other 8k meter mountains) but there is ALWAYS the; chance of HAPE and HACE at high altitudes with thin air and a paucity of oxygen! And every climbing season, it gets more overcrowded.

Since everest is no longer a major challenge for competent professional mountain climbers, merely a tourist location for those deficient in life esteem, here are some suggestions to ease the burden of the HA native climbers ( HANCs) Since the whole area has been trashed anyway by abandoned debris and excrement, 1) send up HANCs to set charges to blast all potential avalanches and demolish as much as possible of the irregularities of khumbu ice fall. 2) employ snow ploughs with suitably adjusted gas/air mix to flatten what remains of the terrain. 3) install a funicular ( pretty sure the chinese will achieve this on the north side soon). 4) a few restaurants would make it economically viable. In other words, turn it i to a high altitude ski resort which it essentially is.
