Can we have a discussion though how this is better or say cheaper than feeding your dog raw at home and if you want to feed your dog raw at home like for us we’re very sustainable etc. etc. so we would use to feed a dog raw diet but to make sure he gets all the ingredients. How would we do that without having to go to a big company that we really don’t know what’s going on inside there?

People don’t feed their dog a raw diet because of the price, especially if it’s gonna be shipped to your door

If it wasn’t so pricy, we would’ve done it from day one!

I feed raw, but I make it myself. I do a certain percentage of muscle meat, secreting organ, liver, raw bone, vegetables, and fruit. He also gets fish oil or sardines, frozen pumpkin, peanut butter, and beef broth. My has suffered chronic diarrhea for so long and finally is on track to normal stool. Found chicken to be the culprit. We do feed a commercial raw diet (lamb NW naturals nuggets) on days we don’t have all the above listed. It’s actually pretty inexpensive. We buy some from a grocery store, some from an animal boutique shop, and some from a local farm.

You need to disclose when you're doing a ad. It's against FCC guidelines and you will be fined.

It's way cheaper to make your own. And "unthaw"? That just means freeze.

I make my own. Beef liver, carrots, green beans, peas, lots of spinach, little broccoli, make my own bone broth. Let it stew for 8 hours and once’s it’s about that time, I put enough brown rice and quinoa to soak up the water. Finish it off with 2tbl spoons of fish oil per 2 pounds.
You’re welcome.

How often do you get them checked for parasites? I've heard that's a risk on raw diet.

Or go to the grocery stores meat department, and look for reduced price close to expiration date … my guys get ribeyes and tbones for $4 even in todays prices

Where I buy my raw, I need to do a little bit more work as it's not pre-made and my dog is senior and only likes certain meat but it literally only takes me 5 minutes to make up two meals for her so not a big deal when you consider her health is what is most important.

I like the idea but it strikes me as impractical and costly

Do all those steps and then after two months declared bankruptcy form having to spend so much on this overpriced food!

Please don’t feed raw it’s not healthy your dogs are not wolves and have been domesticated evolution has made it difficult for them to digest proteins and can create gi allergies ruptured anal glands and skin issues. Not to mention eating raw for them they can get salmonella, broken teeth as people feed them bones or hard food, and malnutrition. Feed them veggies if you really can’t stop yourself from sharing food. Once you pets have issues you’ll blame us vets for wanting to steal your money and that you can’t fix your problems that you create bc of the price of this dumb trend. If your gonna do it at least don’t say we didn’t warn you.
