Oura Ring vs Ultrahuman Air | Which Wearable is Best?

I put both the Oura Ring and Ultrahuman Air Ring to the test. Which comes out on top, and which wearable tech do I recommend? Find out in this ultimate showdown. No matter the outcome, I know you’ll enjoy how many gadgets I’m wearing in this video.

I’ve been wearing sleep tech for years now to monitor and track my sleep data. It’s an incredibly valuable resource as it helps me pinpoint bad versus quality sleep and how sleep is deeply connected with my daily habits, for better or worse. I can see the direct relationship between my sleep and what I eat, when I eat, when I go to bed, and consuming stimulants of any type, among other factors.

Have you ever used a gadget to track your health goals? If so, which do you recommend I try next? 💬

The sole reason I’m looking for other options is because of oura rings subscription. I don’t care about how much money I have, the subscription model is crazy

Very helpful, informative, and well presented. I initially thought of getting an Oura ring but I just can't get past that subscription fee which to me, is irritating. Especially when the Ultrahuman and Ringconn doesn't require it. Based on everything presented, I'm going with the Ultrahuman. Thanks again for the great review!

Subscription is an automatic no from me. Its either going to be the ringconn or the ultrahuman, leaning more towards the ringconn though.

I just saw the Oura commercial during the Giants-49ers game. For 30 seconds, I was thinking, "Oh wait -- that's a real product?"

Best review I've seen so far. The fact that the Ultrahuman doesn't write sleep tracking data to Apple Health is a deal breaker for me. Really disappointed it doesn't do that as it was definitely looking like a purchase!

It is good that the oura ring has gaps in the night while sleeptracking as the other rings fill the parameters and measurements with nonsense values, if they dont have the data.

I use Ringconn and I'm pleased with it. No subscription also. Great portable charging case as well. Nice review, doc!

I really like the advice from Dr pietro boselli - keep it simple. You dont need any of this shit. I feel so liberated after removing my smart watch. I can see some use if you're over weight, don't know how to track calories or if you dont know how to even get started with exercise. For someone like dr jubbal, id imagine this being more a gimmick if anything

Had the Motiv at startup, many years ago, it's sensors are positioned just like the one on the Ultrahuman Air, hated it, I will stick with my Oura 3.

Amazing review! Any idea if UH is now sending sleep data to Apple Health? It’s a dealbreaker if it doesn’t.

As for me, all smart rings are not enticing unless they have blood glucose feature. Have it as one of the features, sales will increase drastically..

Currently, Im thiking about getting the ultrahuman ring.
my biggest worrie:
1) I work at hospital and I disinfect my hands quite alot through out the day - my question is if the disinfection is a problem.

I have the gen 3 Oura approximately a year. It was not tracking my divided sleep times( night shift worker) I notified them and they said they knew and were working on it!
I thought the point of the ring is to track all of my sleep!?

I like that oura ring can turn bluetooth off. Not sure if ultrahuman can.

3 hours difference?
Damn, that’s a huge data gap between those…
Is even one correctly tracking?

On July 31:

- 8 vs 5 ½ hours total sleep
- 9 vs 6 hours time in bed

Not similar at all

Great video! Thanks for your hard work, Dr. Jubbal! Would you say one should consider getting both an Oura Ring and the Apple Watch for both sleep and fitness tracking, then? Or would an Apple Watch be enough, since it also tracks sleep?

Normal people: it’s a fitness ring

Miraculous ladybugs fans: it’s the alliance rings

😂😂😂

3:03 they are not similar at all lol. Do you still feel like Oura is more accurate? My primary use case is sleep tracking so… this is a bit confusing to see
