Im 39. I saw Prince twice in 2003 (Columbia, SC & Atl, GA) then 2009 (Charleston, SC) ..it was a House Party...black or white, young or old, everyone stood the entire show. You looked at the stage the entire time.

It's hard to imagine that a lot of folks became fans of Prince during or after the Purple Rain era, . I was hooked as soon as he made those early hits like soft & wet, I wanna be your lover, sexy dancer, etc, . And the royal badness haven't disappointed since.

I think I’m in love with the bassist. There will never be another PRINCE. I was so blessed to grow up during an era when I could watch this raw and amazing talent grow musically, and become such the iconic artist that influenced and entertained so many. What a loss. I don’t think I can ever get used to the fact that he’s no longer here to create. He’s still and will always be my favorite singer/musician.
