I am use to having some delays when fling. Air plane delays, and cancelled flights due to weather. However I don't expect getting through customs to take longer than the flight to the destination.

In all fairness, the immigration forms for Jamaica have been electronic for well over a year. It isn’t new by any means. The country has gone to great trouble to make the requirements known. Anyone traveling to any country should know what the requirements for entry are before even getting on the plane.

Last minute or not, why wouldn’t a travel agent research the requirements ahead of time. I always do so, especially after Covid. Went to Barbados last year and was required to do an online registration ahead of time. Made customs a breeze.

Traveling Labor Day almost weekend…you’re brave.

I am 71 and travelled internationally very frequently. It was a chore at best and dreadful most times. I always weigh up the value of the vacation experience with the pain I have to go through to enjoy a vacation. I usually end up thinking that staying local is the best bet.
I drove to Tampa and parked next to the cruise ship. Then a week of total relaxation.
If I have to fly it’s a no go.
