As a resident of this Second World since early 2012 I can say its an odd phenomenon.

Some experience little more than it was when it began in 2003...other see something more well crafted than most modern mainstream triple A console & PC games.

Funny thing is each of them would say their experience is the benchmark.

Id say your own imagination is key.

If you just sit there waiting for it to impress you poking it with a stick metaphorically youll get nowhere.
But if youre willing to treat it like another world it will become one for you and youll be so glad you did!
