This is exactly what I think a lot of backers have wanted to see in general: "We had a problem here that didn't pass QC, this is why, this is how we will fix it, this is the benefit of doing things this new way, this is (very roughly) how long it will take to make the fix and move on with development." From the perspective of someone on the outside looking in, this is so much better than just 'we were delayed' or some such.👍

8:51 That's being generous... The Hull C was final-art complete way back in early 2017 (almost 7 years ago), and we saw greybox, whitebox and animated versions of it several years before on Around the Verse.

I work at Garmin and we fail reviews all the time. It's a good thing honestly. Means an error was caught and will be fixed before the customer sees it. There is growing pains in almost everything! Good work guys, very impressive. Been looking forward to this release for a long time.

Bummed by the delay, but thank you for the level of transparency. I'm happier about this level of transparency than I am sad about the delay. Talking to us like actual backers for once, telling us exactly what went wrong, and giving us an approximate delivery date is exactly what everyone wants. Also this format was great, having everyone together seemingly speaking openly and freely makes me feel like you aren't trying to cover anything or script anything. That you guys genuinely ran into issues in development and owned up to it is what the community needs to hear.
