My Dropbox folder was getting out of hand with bought and free pdf patterns. It was time to organize so I could find things easier. I thought you might find this little tutorial on how to organize files in Dropbox useful, in case you are having the same problem!

Thanks Jan. I put most of my downloads in iBooks or in folder on my laptop - but this is a great idea and I’ve added 2 new free patterns from Lila’s studio too!!! And the cute little bird from October arts fibre house. Off to explore that website a bit more.

Hi Jan, thank you for the tutorial, my Dropbox is a hot mess, so I guess after I’ve added a few stitches into my piece for next years rotation, as I’m doing no new starts in 2019, I have to do them this year, I’ll be sorting out my charts, have a good week and happy stitching.

Thanks! I've only used Dropbox as a vehicle for Knit Companion - which I love for my knitting. Now I can see a future for cross stitch charts there, too.

I have a lot of pdfs in my drop box. Do they all have to show in knitting companion? I think it is too much for that little program. Hope you can help me.

Thank you, Jan. Very useful demo. I hope at some point you do a demo/tutorial on how you use KC for cross stitch. I use it all the time for knitting but did not know you could also use it for cr st.

Thank you, Jan! I have my pdf patterns stored on my hard drive in a similar set-up, but had not thought to use Dropbox as an option.

Thanks for sharing this. I need a better way to organize my charts. When you have time could you do a video showing how you use knit companion for cross stitch?
