I will be following along with you Jan - I am not a beginner, been cross stitching for 35 - 40 years now, just always looking for any new ideas, tips, or advice that I may not already know, and besides, you are so pleasant to listen to and to watch. Thanks for posting these videos.

Perfect teacher for me: you have such a calming voice, a very down-to-earth approach to teaching and I appreciate that you show respect to your viewers, not patronising, not judging etc. Thank you for this series, I’m very grateful for your taking the time to share your knowledge in a way that helps us.

This is a great idea. I’ve been crossing for a while but the more complex techniques still are troublesome. I also have not attempted the use of silks yet. I’m sure I will learn something from each of your videos.

Jan I am so excited about this just as a refresher and will probably learn a lot along the way. This will help me teach my granddaughter to start cross stitch.

Ok so I have never really cross stitched before...well I did try many years ago but that didn’t really go well. So I’ve wanted to maybe try again and did choose a kit - a Riolis owl. This may not have been the right choice because of the thread type and I have at least started it and got 4 little lines in with the stitches all going the right way - but I was so nervous I haven’t touched it again!! Hahaha! I will make another attempt here soon - I would love the home sweet home.
