*Ramin* should be credited as co-creator because without all this dope music, shows wouldn’t be what they are!

This man is the reason is started playing the piano again after 10 years of break. I rediscovered my passion for music and enjoy it more than ever before. He is the best film music composer in my opinion!🙏🏼

Ramin...oh Ramin. The joy you have brought into my life, I cannot say. Thank you for all you do.

Rains of Castamere still hits me to my core everytime I hear it, memorized the whole thing.

Ramin is a genius. His music carried a lot of the emotional weight of the questionably written final GoT episodes. So glad he’s scoring HotD.

Ramin Djawadi never fail. Him and Bear McCreary are the all time greats of this era.

Whenever I had to get my cervical cancer treatments I would listen to light of the seven on my headphones and channeled my inner Cersei blowing up the malignant cells . This music means so much to me.

The play on the Hightower and Targaryen themes during Aegon II's coronation was GORGEOUS

I really wished I could have attended the GoT concerts Ramin Djawadi presented. What I saw of them on the internet was amazing. Here's to hoping he gets to do that again and HBO streams it for all to enjoy.

If George is the vision, Ramin is definitely the heart of this whole GOT world. Without his masterful music, the whole series lessens, his work definitely elevates it. He deserves so much recognition.

Ramin is a genius! I didn't pick up on that until I watched Westworld, and was blown away - then went back to really take in his work from GoT, as well. PLEASE go watch Westworld if you haven't! Not only is it amazing, but Ramin's work is just... breath-taking.

In terms of creating genre musical atmospheres, Ramin Djawadi deserves to be ranked among the likes of John Willams, the late, greats Bernard Herrmann, John Barry, James Horner, James Barnard and Jerry Goldsmith imho. From the first time I heard Ramin Djawadi's music scores (beginning with "Iron Man" and "Clash Of The Titans"), I was on board and never looked back... Like Bear McCreary, there's a special signature sound to his compositions that sets Ramin and Bear's work apart from their contemporaries. I've followed the careers and music of both and love what they've done to enhance our experience of the stories we watch. Their scores have the facility to make you feel as well as being in perfect sync with the visuals and dialogue. They both know exactly when to dial it back as well. Djawadi's "Pacific Rim"score was a prime example of that synthesis. For me, that movie wouldn't have had the same thematic and sensory dichotomy of menace and exhilaration I felt in my theatre seat, had a lesser talent been engaged. Brilliant stuff and it didn't stop there. Ramin doesn't only compose with a Western sensibility, he tailors the instrumentation to seamlessly dovetail into the material he's scoring for.

Alongside his briIliant composing for "Game Of Thrones", I was particularly impressed with his creativity in the music for "Person Of Interest", "The Great Wall" and "Eternals". This year, he continued to amaze my ears, mind and heart with his unique Thrones sonic vocabulary and tonal resonance on his work for "House Of The Dragon". And he expanded on it with the inclusion of those mysterious, subtle and spooky vocalizations that Jason mentioned in this podcast. Djawadi added another dimension to the scores and it was nothing short of exceptional. Viserys' surprise entrance into the throne room and the funeral at Driftmark, had me literally in tears. The accompanying music to the montage at the beginning of episode 9, was like "Light Of The Seven", astonishing. That says more than enough about Ramin's music having the power to do move the listener. Suffice to say, I can't wait to hear what he has in store for us when season two is unleashed and the Dance Of The Dragons begins... I'm sure it will evoke yet more awe, dread, sadness and wonder in our minds and touch our heart strings.

Ramin is a genius. I have listened to his music over and over again. It's beautiful. Daenarys/Targaryen themes were some of my favourite. So a whole series of them was a dream come true. A few I like in this series
The Prince who was promised and
The Velaryon theme 😍 🔥 🩸

Love Rhaenyra's theme and how it retains themes from the GoT Targaryen music.

I just hope they keep hiring him for all Ice & Fire related tv adaptations. Ramin was born to make music for this franchise! 🙌

I think this is my favorite episode of this podcast. I’ve always been interested in the musical scores of the episodes of both GOT and House of the Dragon, so this is really great for me ❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Rook's rest theme is my favorite from season 2. Such incredible buildup, and his use of the cello reminds me of Vivaldi's use of violin- Masterful! He's one of the greatest composers of our generation. Ramin is an example of hard work + talent, and I'm excited to witness his career for many years to come ❤
