See my pile of ancient, carbonized wood specimens that have not rotted and are burnable today. They were encased in igneous lamproite when the violent intrusions occurred. These are not petrified wood specimens, they are not minerally replaced. This looks and feels like wood--because it is. Please join me now so I can show you and explain how I now have this pile of 100-million-year old pieces of coalified trees.

I always enjoy your interesting videos. The geology of Arkansas and surrounding areas is quite amazing to consider and be aware of. I hope you can find a good solution to killing the wind noise from your recording .. it would really increase the value of your videos. Thank you again! 🙂
