We are entering ‘pre-war’ world without doubt in my humble opinion! I am old enough to remember when we where in ‘Cold War’ with Russia and time where extremely dangerous.

My biggest concern if Russia decides on taking advantage of lack of military capability from Ukrainian and limited military resources that have been exhausted at the present time.

Western countries are in a very difficult situation as if it is true that we have limited resources from are selves and cannot help Ukrainian military forces until we start ramping up production and that takes time which Ukrainian hasn’t got.

Any type of intervention that is given directly or indirectly from the west in Putins eyes would cause retaliation in which the world may never recover.

A nuclear WW3 is possibly unthinkable but could well be fought with the s.c. 'conventional' weapons whose destructive power is nonetheless far from negligible. In 1939 Londoners wore gas masks yet gas was never used on the battlefields, which didn't prevent the death of 75 million people and appalling devastations. This war could have been avoided many times but NATO does not want to negotiate. When NATO opposed both the Minsk agreement in 2015 and the peace draft in Istanbul in the spring of 2022, it cannot be interpreted in any other way that NATO wants war with Russia. However, I feel a little sorry for the people of Ukraine who are forced to go to war with Russia. If Zelendsky had stood on the side of the people, the war would have been avoided.
