I have been watching your videos for months unable to spend money upgrading ai tools so i had to research free tools for video creation and writing stories. I tried using your super prompt but couldn't get it to work for me... But I took from your videos different advice and have found a way to write using some of your suggestions and have been having some great results. Whenever I read a novel, could be generic sci-fi pulp, I'm reminded of how brilliant humans are at writing stories, and how far away ChatGPT4 is from emulating them.

This is Sims-Sing-Along. Having an identity crisis. I got all excited when I saw your video title because I thought you'd made some kind of breakthrough. 10, 000 words??!?! And then the output was like 500.

Anyway. If I may suggest a way to streamline your process:

-Give your GPT instructions to always check its custom knowledge base for style information and project information. Then put your style guide in a .txt and whatever information you want the GPT to have about the project, like characters, background, setting, etc in either a .txt or a .csv (depending how you have it organized). You can get all your project-specific criteria in there and save room in the instructions for priming or whatever, and you can have up to ten files, so you're unlikely to run out of room.

I spent most of November building a set of GPTs for my stuff. I'm happy to help if I can.

Just an idea, would it make sense to upload previous chapters of a story in the knowledge base to give context helping writing the next chapter and iterating ?

A bit of Advice. You can upload Text documents of your "Characters" rather than putting it directly into the instructions. You can do the same with the rest too, Perhaps you have SPR's of your previous chapters you could add in them too.

Love your videos, but for the current version of GPT4 which is I think 8k tokens, wouldn't it just forget what it's written after a few thousand words?

I may have accidentally done this on the main GPT, 3.5 now it remembers EVERYTHING. And I'm now seeing 4.0 which I never noticed (limited of course) Help me understand more. Not complaining, just saying.

Great video as usual Nerdy. But tell me, how did you get GPT 4? I've been trying to subscribe for a few weeks and I'm still on a waitlist. My son tried the same. He signed up with his own email address and was taken directly to GPT 3.5. So it would seem that everyone who wants to get onto GPT 4 is on a waitlist. Seems strange as GPT 4 is subscriber only and it's income for Open AI. Anyone else got this problem.
