Thank you for the beautiful reminder of the reason this weekend is a holiday. To all of my brothers and sisters who have fallen, you will never be forgotten. Bless you and thank you all for your service.

Excellent and emotionally moving ad. The most important line is "They have led the way to the America we must be". the key words being MUST BE because at the present, we cannot say ARE.

In times when war criminals get presidential pardon and commanding officers are dismissed because they aim to protect their unit members we should question the leadership of this nation before everything our heroes fought for is lost.

Today, the enemy is not abroad.
He is sitting in the White House.

Thank you. My father fought in WWII and Korea. He never talked about it....The men in that war never talked about it. They came home, picked up the pieces and carried on. When my father was 70, I was able to take him to Washington DC, and by the grace of God, that was the day they were dedicating the WWII memorial. I never saw my father cry, ever, but that day I did. My father spoke with many service men....men he didn't even know. I saw him heal that day. My father has since passed away, and I am the lucky one in the family who has the portrait of him in his uniform. As a child I looked at it often, and many questions ran through my mind. Now I look at it as an adult, and my questions have been answered. To serve your country is the highest honor. To all those men and women who gave their lives so that I could grow up in a free country, thank you. And to my dad... I love and miss

"Americans of every race and faith".
Love that line.
A nod to the simple fact that two people that neither look alike nor share the same beliefs can both still be Americans.

We have a shrinking number of men who fought against the Nazi flag. At the same time, we have people waving that Nazi flag who support the President while he says “some are very fine people”. It makes me sick to my stomach. My girlfriend has the Silver Star and Purple Heart that her father earned in World War II. He was a Omaha Beach survivor. If he was here today, he would be disgusted and he wouldn’t be silent about it.

My Uncle Nick from Minnesota served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was killed in combat aboard the heavy cruiser USS San Francisco (CA-38) during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, 12-15 November 1942. Rest in peace.
