So difficult to believe that 43 years have gone by since this gem of a movie made its debut. That's real entertainment. How I wish we could have those good times again.

Another famous person in this movie is the Young Guitar Thief. He is played by Devoreaux White who also played Argyle the Chauffeur in Die Hard.

Saw a screening of it at Radio City Musical Hall in NYC in 1997. It was a double bill with NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANIMAL HOUSE. The audience applauded every musical number and even sang along. It was a blast.

First time I saw this I was ten years old (27 now) it's still my favorite movie due to the music and the car chase at the end. The dash is shaking and we're doing 119 in Chicago. That was great. I love the extended "I Need You" in the credits as well. Thank you.

It's like a fuckin' party at the end, isn't it? They should put this back in theaters at midnight screenings and the audiences can sing and dance along to the numbers.

This movie has a much better ending than the sequel Blues Brothers 2000.

1:48 The one song called "Everybody Needs Somebody" starts. and it would be great if they play that song in the Pepper Ann segment "Snot Your Mother's Music".

Dan Aykroyd and John Candy would later reunite in the film The Great Outdoors

With the superior movie version of "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love". Dan Aykroyd's speaking doesn't sound too enthusiastic, like on the album.
