Regular revision is necessary to ensure maximum retention of things learnt. This is the final lesson on modal verbs where the focus is purely on learning their day-to-day uses to help us communicate effectively.
In all, there are nine modal verbs — Will, Would, Shall, Should, Can, Could, May, Might and Must — and three semi-modal verbs — Ought to, Need and Dare. In the previous seven lessons, we discussed in detail the situational uses of all modal verbs — from learning to seek, refuse and give permission to talking about possibilities and unreal situations to expressing abilities, certainties and necessities, we had everything covered.
This lesson, therefore, focuses on individual modal verbs and their practical uses, but in an entertaining and practical manner. Since it is revision, we are going to cover maximum ground in a short span of time. Anytime you feel you need detailed explanation on any modal verb, please refer to previous seven lessons. If your doubt persists or you have any query, please don’t hesitate to reach me. I am just a message away.
My vision is to make grammar accessible to all by making it more entertaining, lively and functional. Every lesson is a new learning experience for me, as it is for you all. Irrespective of the results, I am happy with the process that I am involved in, it is my guiding force and a constant source of motivation. So let’s take a step forward by getting started. Happy viewing!!

Sir, look at this,
1 you SHALL take off your shoe first prior entering their room. It is a rule sentence I think.
Is it sentence switchable into negative, like
2 You SHALL NOT enter their room with a shoe.
