I understand that this is supposed to be used for good but this technology is just too powerful and im very cynical when it comes to trusting those in power...
I mean, just imagine the many different ways this technology could be abused and used unethically.
This technology can save lives and I'm pretty sure it could also take them away if given to the wrong people...

Last year I did a research paper for my Ethics of War class about how both terrorism and counter-terrorism have changed the US over the past 2 decades. Sure, expanding security like this could prevent horrible things; but it is _far_ more dangerous to let it blindly scale out of control. America's fortifications are only as strong as its own citizens' trust in them. And until we truly understand what boundaries are "too far" for AI surveillance, I don't think we are ready for this technology yet.
