Are you using a printer with card reader??? Or it's just a standar card reader???

i´ve already the cinestyle picture profile, when you installl ML this can be lost? do i have install cinestyle again? (whwn you format sd card?? thx so much for this info

I have a T1i, and have got to the part where i have done the firmware updates, removed the battery, loaded the Magiclantern files onto the card, put the card and battery bk in and now it wont switch on... im assuming i didnt have the right files on????
Is my camera wrecked now?.... if not can someone explain and link me to the files i need on my card and explain in simple terms for me....
i have the 11.11.11 migiclantern from the decription....

@HussamAbuHanna yes it is and you need a class 10 SDHC card or whatever better is on the market plus you have to change settings in ML but you will loose 2 seconds every time new file is created and also you might experience camera overheating in that case you can't do anything!

does the memory card have to go straight into the computer or can it go into your camera?

@estanislaozuleta Actually you had to upgrade your firmware to 1.0.9 in case to install ML and also new firmware 1.1.0 came out but ML is in progress for that version and beta testers needed.

when i try to copy the file to my sd card it says you do not have permission to create a new file???

@prodigy10690 yes sd card with ML has to be in the camera to able to use it.

hi!! i recently upgrade mi firmware to 1.0.9 (i have a 60d) with out ML, can i install ML anyway??

@scornofx Yes I did and it's working properly but sometimes freezes (happened twice) what you need to do in this case is remove battery for like 10 seconds.

I used the link in the description for the 4 different Canon *D's, updated my 500d firmware and when i loaded the ML file onto the card after unzipping it i reinserted the battery and now it wont turn on!!!

I updated my firmware(cause that's the way you are supposed to do it) and installed magic lantern.After i installed it i noticed that my battery was running low pretty fast and decided i want to uninstall the magic lantern.After a few days i went to take some pictures and when i got back home i couldn't turn my camera back on because my battery had magically run out.After that, my SDHC card broke, and i was unable to acces it.I bought a new card and not quite sure that made it ok.So be warned !
