You are correct. A scene with dialoguelike this was totally expected ever since they announced the character of Donna's daughter beig named Rose.

The wonderful thing about that scene is that it gives away the things we already know. Sure it has the interaction but like you said that's been guessed before now.

And I can very much tell that from this single BTS scene leak that I may spend the first episode in tears. It's going to be so amazing. I cannot wait!

Tennant was the best doctor. I’ve watched all of them over the years and I go back to David every time. There’s just something about him that pulls me in.

He was also my first doctor. But still.

My theory: Sonic screwdriver has a hologram HUD that the doctor can swipe through. Donna remembers the doctor and then forgets over and over, the people in the scene see the spaceship crash but then forget and carry on. Seems like memory wiping is all through this episode (Donna later points and calls doctor "skinny man" back home after this scene, as if she forgot again!)

I think the holographic sonic thing is more of just a telescope kind of thing, which I’m okay with. You see David go to move the screen when Rose shouts ‘it’s going to crash!’ which makes me feel it’s the Sonic using a telescope enhancer by using sonic waves of something like that 💀

Your right, too quiet by now for the 50th we was getting Doctor Who Convention, 50th was going be in the cinema, figures, toys etc ok some of this for 60th. But, no mention of a big Convention organised by BBC. 😮

I honestly don't like Doctor using Sonic too much. It's fun for opening doors and helping out witch some technical stuff, but right now it's magic wand and solves stuff that The Doctor should know just by looking at stuff, or smelling it, or licking it.

that was the last night of the filming i stayed and saw this scene a year ago ( did not take pics or film as i work in the industry and that would be so conflictive ) when they were filming at Camden Town, i remember that night as i stayed until 11.30pm and it started to rain so they halted filming.

David Tennant waving his hand looked to me like He was giving directions to the spaceship on where to land, and then holding up all five fingers, as if to symbolize for them to wait 5 minutes after landing for him to arrive.

Did you see the blooper in the video ?, except if it will be edited out in post, Rose was just standing around the corner waiting for her cue @ 2:22 you see her head and left foot.
