FIX 0xc0000221 Error Code RECOVERY Your PC/Device Needs to be Repaired Operating System Blue Screen

If you are getting the following blue screen Windows error when starting up your laptop or desktop I'm here to help you fix it.
"Recovery Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. The operating system couldn't be loaded because the kernel is missing or contains errors. Error code: 0xc0000221 You'll need to use recover tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device) contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacture.

This worked. Thank you. I did all kinds of software tweaking, bios flashing, full reformatting to try and fix it but I just had to reseat the ram for some reason again. The ram was never touched and all i was doing was updating the recent nvidia driver. Check the ram before you do tweaking.

I only opened safe mode and uninstall all apps and programs that i had installed before the errors and restart my pc. And guess what! It starts normally.

So I was running bitdefender just doing a basic system scan. It said to restart for updates. I restart the computer and got the error code. Any ideas? Greatly appreciated.

Ive tried the RAM its not this, Ive unplugged all extenal drive, it keep rebooting to the blue screen giving me reboot options on F8 but none of them are working, it reboots to the blue screen - taking me to the black EDIT BOOT OPTION screen telling the path, the noexcute=optin is not workign etc - its not showing me boot options hard drive drive - usb - disc etc and I dont have access to BIOS !!! Ive tried killed the power repeatedly 3-4 times by holding down the power button - so the pc goes to diagnostic its not working also - I am stuck on the blue screen / and cannot reboot in safe mode

If u keep holding shift it will go back to normal windows if u have your old hard drive in

It will still stuck on Recovery mode. Even I restarted and did boot from my USB bootable device it won't still let me 😭 I already changed my ram. Is it all about my SSD maybe?

In my case it was because I had the bios in auto/default mode in all parameters, defaulting my ram speed to 1600mhz when it had to be 2400mhz 4x8gb DDR4, so I had to activate the D.O.C.P. of the bios to use the correct speed and it fixed the problem completely.

Man, I was totally stumped for a while. I kept getting that error but turns out that my ram was not correctly seated. I feel stupid.
