I have ran Hercules tires for 20 years… my neighbors had a tire shop and I bought through them. AT, road tires, Mud Tires… all were great.

Going to the tire shops is what convinced me to pull the trigger on a tire machine and balancer for my home garage.

VERY informative video! I appreciate the explanation about the balancing beads. In my Jeep club, many have large aggressive tires that are impossible to balance with weights and beads work every time

Check out Kenda tires. Inexpensive but excellent, and all we run any more.

I ran a tire shop for Sears from 1971 to 1991. Been away from tires for a while. The industry has really changed a lot.

The biggest problem I have is knowing proper inflation. Do you go by the vehicle manufacturer or do you go by what the tire actually says, or do you split the difference? I have found neither matches.

Howdy Brock! My best friend since 4th grade is an engineer and worked in Cooper Tires' R & D department for several years... mainly designing machines that make tires. Not that it is germane to the conversation... just thought it was a cool connection to your tires lol. I'm going through this with my F450. Hoodoggy... I'm not used to buying 6 tires at a time. Little pricey! Thanks for sharing 🤠

Overkill has never gotten anybody stranded, I put 10 ply 1 ton truck tires on my half ton Silverado best decision I’ve ever made.

I put Hercules tires on my camper. Basically semi tires. No complaints after 2 years

Great video and super content! You keep hitting all the right buttons with your educational approach to what everyone needs to know to navigate life’s daily challenges better! 👍👍. I’m a Continental tire guy for my F350. They are what came on it and I’ve had the best service out of them. Mine are loaded rated @ 121 and speed rated at an “S”. To add to the conversations on things that really affect tire wear……. The front linkage components wearing, such as tie rod ends, shocks, U-joints at front axle ends on 4WD trucks and steering boxes on older trucks like I drive. I’m about to cross over the 600, 000 mile threshold and it’s my daily driver, toter, hauler etc. I’m just totally all over preventative Maintence. I will never have another truck because of the $100, 000 dollar price tags these days and would rather take extremely good care of this one and save $$$$. Again PERFECT content!! 🔥🔥👍👍

Good morning Brock. The only tires that I'll buy are Good Years. I'm on my second set of Good Year Dura Tracs on my Tundra. It has 18" wheels and I paid $350. each. I can usually get 75 to 80 thousand miles out of them. They're not noisy but you could climb the side of the Empire State Building in a blizzard with them. The cupping on the front tires in my experience is normal on a 4 wd. vehicle but you can minimize it by keeping the tires rotated regularly. 5000 miles is recommended but since I'm older now and get it done at the dealer I let it go to 10, 000 miles. I don't really know anything about Hercules tires so keep us informed about how they work for you. God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂

Good tire review. Tires are basic to every piece of rolling equipment.

I used Dynabeeds on my Harley. I hated them, at low speed it caused vibration from being out of ballance. HD corp was not happy and made the dealer rebalance them without the need a for free and required them to stop selling them.

On a trailer - no problem, mud on the tires - should work. I just wanted to put that out there, they are not for light weight cars and motorcycles.
