Watercolour Landscape: How to Simplify a Complex Scene | Painting Tasmanian Bush in a Loose Style

Painting forest scenes in watercolour can be overwhelming - there are so many layers and textures and small details. In this video, I paint a small landscape inspired by the days spent in the Tasmanian wilderness, in the rainforests of the Cradle Valley. I am using photographs, sketches, and my memories of that stunning and peaceful place to create this landscape in a loose and expressive style.

C’est une très belle peinture, riche d’enseignements pour moi car j’habite en Polynésie où la végétation est luxuriante et je ne sais jamais comment faire pour que ce soit juste suggéré. Merci encore
