This was exactly what I needed to see..thank you! Lately, I've been binging on lots of different sewing channels learning about digital patterns but you're the only one to literally "hold our hands" taking the mystery away about how to order them AND then tape it together. The tip about taking the borders away ..so the pattern print edges can butt up against each other..I had no idea that was a feature on a printer. You're a gifted teacher, Casey. I know it must take hours & hours of filming, editting and planning to make one single show...so from my little sewing corner of the world...thank you!

I’ve been sewing for nearly 50 years (ouch) and just bought my first online pattern—the button-up blouse. This tutorial was instrumental in that happening. It’s all printed and cut out. Now to fabric shop!! I used to make button downs as they were called in the 80’s out of Oxford cloth. I had them in every color. I’m excited to find some lighter weight cotton to try this again. So glad I stumbled on this channel!!

Thank you so much, just printed your Hana tank and dress pattern and followed these steps, I love the layering feature on Acrobat Reader to print only the size I want. So quick and easy! This is my first garment project! Thank you for all of your wonderfully informative videos and clear instructions and tips ❤️

I'm a new sewer (sewist?) and I recently discovered your channel. I'm very impressed with your communication skills. Your video and sound quality are excellent and seem very polished. The few things I've seen you create so far look excellent. I'm still binge watching your older videos to get caught up. Lately I've also started searching for fabric in thrift stores, because retail prices are pretty crazy, so I'd like to see more videos about how to know what is good quality fabric and a good deal. Obviously there are not always labels on thrift store "stuff" so one has to rely on touch and feel and the look etc.

Thank you. I have been sewing for about 55 years, and am just getting back into it. I have accumulated about 30 PDF patterns and my success rate at printing has not been great. This has really helped. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️your channel

Ok - the portrait mode for the printing is SO GOOD!! I just tried it yesterday on a True Bias pattern and loved it! I did a test of printing just the 4 pages in the top left of the layout (in my case it was 1-2 & 7-8) and it was perfect -- and imho, much more accurate, as there is less user involvement in the process ;) THANK YOU!! Love your channel, love your patterns (recently made my 3rd Lulu!), and eagerly awaiting that peasant top (and the call for pattern testers)! :D

Thank you for all your helpful advice regarding pdf patterns! This has been so helpful for me as always when I go to print a pattern from other sites it always seem to leave me confused regarding getting the right size paper for printing. Now with seeing this video I feel I am more confident in regard to printing and also did not know about getting printing with the AO size that was available here in Australia this is what I am so interested in. I have printed the pdf patterns in the past before but no where that I could see how to print only the one size and so found the reams of A4 to be printed then joined together has always seem to take ages to put together. Best info I have watched and also love your bloopers.

OK.
Turning off the layers for the un-needed sizes is brilliant.
Thank you. Going to visit your shop, now.

Thank you for this! I've done both at home and AO - mostly at home - and thought I knew all I needed to BUT! that 'portrait' printing tip is GOLD! I'm wondering if it works for most pdf pattern company patterns, or is that specific to yours? Regardless, what a great tip!!! PS, currently wearing my comfi pants :)

wow, asked you last week about this and here it is....thank you soooo much, since I don't have a printer, I only have a chrom notebook, I think I will try brooklyn, especially since I just have to to to your patterns...although I am going to admit that I will most likely go to Best Buy and have Amanda help me, yes....I am first name basis with the crew at Best Buy...this is the result of being tech challenged, it's ok to laugh...I know, but hey it is what it is... again thank you so much...
