"Why do you think I sent her to you?" That moment destroyed me. It's so beautiful 😭

They picked a great actress to play Sarah. I can see all the kids in her. Looks like Maggie, sounds intelligent like Brighton, and has Grace’s innocence. Great pick.

I love how Fran honors Sarah's memory by having the kids watch home videos and lighting a candle to guide her way.
My favorite scene is how Fran corrected CC when she accidentally called her Sally, showing that Fran had so much respect for Sarah even though she never met her.

They handled this quite beautifully. It is very realistic: many people whose spouses have passed away often feel guilty when they fall in love again, especially if their first marriage was a happy one.

Although The Nanny is fictional, it was wonderful how the children (and Max) knew that Fran could never replace Sarah; Fran's romance with Max was entirely different but still special.

I'm so glad the writers included this scene. Knowing that Sarah was the one who sent Fran was just beautiful. She wanted Max to be happy again, and for the kids to have a maternal figure in their lives again.

One of my favorite parts:
Sarah: Why do you think I sent her to you?
Maxwell: You sent her to us? Even with that voice?
Sarah: I thought she had a cold!

Very touching scene.

His wife is beautiful and I am happy she sent Fran. She seems like a real kind and genuine person Maxwell is lucky to have her still watching over them.

Bess Armstrong. One appearance and she conveyed everything you needed to know about her character. Good casting.

Wow, Sarah really saw how strained her family was after her death. Especially her husband with their children. I’m glad she sent Fran to them to fill that missing void she left because Fran made everyone happy again. I’m also sure Sara also appreciate Fran for making sure that the children won’t forget about their mother

“I’ll always love you, Max”
- said from Sarah, that was the most beautiful line on the show

Wouldn’t she be his late wife, not his ex wife? They didn’t divorce before she died. Anyway, this is one of my favorite scenes from the show, I tear up every time when she says she sent Fran to Max and the kids.

This was just such a beautiful moment because he got Sarah’s blessing and knew that she would be happy for him and Fran. Of course Fran wouldn’t take her place but it was such a sweet moment especially cause Fran was like a new mother figure to the kids.

I've been waiting for this scene.

I did love how throughout the show, Fran was there to fill the maternal role but it wasn't in a way that replaced Sarah, more like being there because Sarah couldn't be, and she made sure that the kids never forgot their biological mother either.

This scene + the scene before the wedding when Fran has cold feet & Maxwell says, "5 years ago you blew into our lives like a whirlwind; made us feel alive again. For that alone I'll love you forever." 🥰

That sending Fran to Maxwell part really knows how to hit you in feels. No doubt in my mind this happens in real life, too.

This scene always stuck with me after I watched it because while it is rather silly, it is also unbearably sweet. I like the idea that even after Sarah passed, she wanted Maxwell to have a life and love after her, and it's even better during the adoption episode because we learn just how much respect Fran has for Sarah and how she tries to do right by her children.

I loved the conversation Max and his late wife, Sarah, had about Fran's impact on him and their children.

I swear Sarah just sounds so angelic, pure and kind hearted. I have no doubt in my mind she was an amazing mother and wife for Maxwell and their kids. She will always be with him and I’m sure just like she said she’ll always be grateful to Fran for bringing light and love back into their lives❤️

This was a great scene. This shows how much it's obvious to everyone how deeply Fran loves the children and Maxwell. It's Maxwell subconscious but it's well done.
