The varsity show choir of my school’s ballad is this song and they perform this with so much emotion and the soloist does this song so much justice 🥹

anyone recognize that some of the first few notes of the song(0:00-0:05) are a callback to the first song of the musical, "time"? i feel like that melody is repeated in the musical quite a few times and in other songs(to my recollection).

also, joy woods is a force in this show and kills every scene and song she's in(this whole cast is amazing but she's special)
