I think the card is improvise that number 3 become 5 by sliding the black line with his finger in the back of the card 2:05.... Then changed with real pen marker when he put the improvise card along with the deck of cards... Only a theory... :-) he is really amazing in card tricks... Love it!

lol he closed the deck then reopened it in a completely different part of the deck. You can see the original place that was picked

Its a trick pen and look closely as he gives them the cards, he gives him the top half so no matter where in the deck you stop at they get the top card
