Steel Will Intrigue: Unboxing and Impression, ...Meh?

I open and unbox the Steel Will Mini Intrigue. One of the newest models from Steel Will, makers of the popular Cutjack and Modus. I'll be giving my intial impressions and thoughts as well as go over why I choose this particular steel will model.

Update:Not sure what ill be doing with them at this point. Not sure if I will dial them back in or not.I was going to adjust the pivot but the black one is so locktited I'm afraid it will strip out. And the gray one seems vulnerable to a lot of blade if it was adjusted. So im holding off any tuning to the knives, to avoid voiding out the warranty.

Yeah my intrigue is the same way. I need to get an extra torx driver and try sanding the washers. I also bought a used cutjack that has a weird intermittent issue. Where it's extremely difficult to open and then it's not. Need 2 disassemble it as well and see, but otherwise they are Nice. I want the larger versions now.

Good video, subbed and I'm looking forward to what's coming next. I was pretty underwhelmed with this model too. Just like the LCK, flippers need to flip!

So sad when the cutjack is so great! However I had the m390 version so may be a little different story!

I like the Cutjack and Modus. But this one just doesn't stand out to me. Good video though!

I loved my Cutjack from the moment I opened it. But I really get an underwhelmed feeling when a knife opens like those Intrigues for the first time. I heard that their knives are lacking a bit on QC these days. Could Steel Will be drowning in their own succes?

Definitely a little bit lackluster. Hopefully a good disassembly and cleaning and adjusting will do them both some good! I've actually never even had a steel will before, but I have one of the small cut Jacks in m390 coming that I got on a trade that should be here sure they will see how that one is is.
