Origami Square Tray Tutorial - Toolbox / Box / DIY Desk Organiser - Paper Kawaii

Watch this video to learn how to make a square origami tray or toolbox! You can use this to keep things neat on your desk, or display jewellery, stationary, pens and more 💗

The tray in the thumbnail was made with thick 30 x 30 cm paper 🙂

YOU WILL NEED ▶

- 1 sheet of square paper
I used 9.75 x 9.75 inches (25 cm)

Use thicker paper for best result.

- Bit of glue

Final sizes:

15 x 15 = 5.5 x 5.5 cm
21 x 21 = 7.7 x 7.7 cm
25 x 25 = 9 x 9 cm
30 x 30 = 10.5 x 10.5 cm

This was a cute box to make. Thank you for the tutorial. I used the one I made to hold tiny essential oil bottles in my laundry room. You can fit 6 bottles in the tray perfectly and it keeps all of the bottles neatly displayed.

Also, I was thinking about this design, and I was wondering if you ever thought of making an origami box that this toolbox design would fit into like a normal toolbox? That way, you'd have some space underneath, and then when putting the toolbox design on top, it would fit inside but not completely reach the bottom. What do you think?
