Keep on sending billions of dollars to Ukraine and Israel, it's not like if we need that money here.

This DEI woman /VP/ is lost.. she has more empathy for illegal immigrants then American citizens. She is in no way shape or form qualified to be VP much less president

$750 is laughable for what we've gone through. They send millions overseas for other countries and give illegal immigrants thousands for food assistance but have the audacity to come to our devastated towns and offer up $750. Disgraceful.

We were without power for 5 days..barely eating a full course meal..now that we have power we still can't find food or gas unless we stand in lines that's wrapped around the building

Having been displaced from my home by Typhoon Marwar in Guam in May of 2023, my heart goes out to all the people in Georgia and over effected areas. I worked through FEMA for immediate assistance, which helped cover humidifiers, cleanup supplies, batteries, etc. $700 was the maximum. For those completely displaced (home gone or unlivable), FEMA is there to help with temporary housing. The process is slow and frustrating at times, especially when you are hurting, but the Federal Government does come through. I did not qualify for more than $700 FEMA, but that is when he Small Business Administration stepped in, and I was able to qualify for a home renovation loan at a hardship % rate of 2%. I finally moved back into my house three weeks ago. Again, my heart goes out and just know it will get better. And thankfully, the SBA and FEMA were able to provide the support I needed to get back on my feet and back in my home. Stay strong!

All Americans should wonder:
Suppose Florida, Georgia and Virginia were SEPARATE Nations?
How would they recover from this on their own?
We should be grateful that, no matter WHAT happens, the other States and the Feds are there to offer assistance to the States that are hit.

Several years ago, a massive Hurricane hit Central America.

Some Nations, like Guatemala, were devastated, when the Storm hit the WHOLE Nation.
That resulted in many people leaving the nation for good!

We wonder why people leave Nations that were poor to begin with and then the WHOLE Nation gets hit with a Drought, Flood, Hurricane, etc and its structure breaks down.

Americans forget that a large part of our strength comes from

Whether it's an Earthquake or Wildfire in California, a Drought in Iowa, a Terrorist Attack on NY City, or a Hurricane that hits Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, etc., we are ALL Americans and we will do what we have been doing for 230 years --- help each other!
