I gotta say that the reviews on this channel are so straight to the point. The only thing that bothered me and had me sell my 12 Pro is the PWM Dimming almost killed my eyes. Seeing this I don't think the 12S series will be any different. Anti-flicker mode didn't do a thing. Any recommendations? I really wanted the magic 4 pro to be released in India, but I guess that's not happening.

Just got mine, I absolutely LOVE it. It takes amazing photos and videos, my main reason for getting it.

It also happens to be ridiculously fast. :D
I just posted a video about the gift box that XiaoMi sent me with my phone. I took the whole video with the 12S Ultra, at night, in terrible lighting conditions and it turned out really well.

This is one authentic review, not like those who only focus on the Leica mark.

In terms of telelense, video performance, battery, software, even sound quality, the 12su is not a big upgrade from 11u.

Some major problems are still not fixed, such as unable to switch lenses in 60fps, no super dim mode, cannot lock screen when double click in homepage, 48 hrs instead of 72hrs to force retyping password, etc.

Major downgrade is the front camera. No 1080 60fps, and no rear display. I mean, is this really a newer device?

What I like about the 12S Ultra is the less noisy low light shot and the great light to shadow brightness. So it'll probably be on my list.
I do think that adding variable aperture on the device can make it better since it can also help in highlight control and portraits scene. Could add around tha round rim to better Maybe they can also engineer a movable lens to help with portraits for the main camera. I do hope they upgrade the tele and UW but to what extent unsure. Looks great already. Overall I think this is great hardware and just need some tuned software.
