So, she divorced him for the same qualities that she was attracted to in the first place. If Brady listened to her, quit his career, and became a stay home dad, she'd divorce him and she'd say, "he wasn't the man I fell in love with. He lost all his drive and passion."

My ex did the same thing. We had a beautiful house on the water with a family and she didn't need to work. Now she lives in an apartment, is single, bitter & had to find a job. I moved on, am happy, and have great relationship with my kids. She listened to her her drunk, bitter, single friends and a few TV shows, and went out of her way to find the most petty things to fight over. When I found out she was trying to see other men, it was over. She begged me to come back, but once you break trust, forget it. She's still miserable. I actually feel sorry for her.

Same thing happened to me over 20 years ago. I was in a relationship with a woman who I thought was going to be my wife. Three years later out of the blue, she said that she didn’t want the relationship anymore. I asked her why, and I couldn’t get a straight answer . I was hurt, but I moved on. She was with another guy less than four months afterwards, so I knew why she wanted to break up. I am in a better place now and I couldn’t be happier. A few years ago some woman who recognized me, told me that she knew my ex and she needs to get back with you because I was better for her than the guys she has been with. I told her that the bridge can’t be crossed because it was burned to the ground.

Hello Rivah, my name is Reggie. I stumbled onto your site, while looking at Tom Brady videos. I'm 71 years old. I've been married for 51 years. I couldn't believe what I was hearing you say. I need to give you your props, girl! You said it all. And there was not one errant thought in all of what you had to say. I've listened to lots of stuff from women before from my generation. There moms and other women have filled their heads with the foolishness, that they needed to go out there and find for themselves a man whose going to take care of them. Never mentioning that there are two shoes needed to make a pair comfortable to walk in. So foolishly, they buy into that home wrecking set of false wisdom. And they blow up their relationships because the believe that their only responsibility is to be their and occasionally lay down on their back when or if they want to, and that is the only responsibility that they really have in the relationship. So please, let me congratulate you for all the wisdom that you threw down in this post. You're the woman that all other women should look to for wisdom and advice. Amen!

As a man, 68 and divorced, after working 8 hrs and sometimes 12 hrs when I get home I don't want to argue. I only want some peace. I don't care what Debbies husband did for her and why can't I be more like him. I've been divorced for 21 blessed years. I have hobbies, friends and time is my own. What I don't have is a 5 ft 6 inch headache.
