I swear, just the start of your videos makes me smile. "I hope you're having a great day, too, Ben, "

Same mixer, I love it. I could have figured this out on my own, but you saved me quite some time. However, I'm considering connecting the looper outputs to the channel 9/10 so that way I have both channels on a single fader and I can't mistakenly send the phantom power to the pedal when I need it on a mic. Thank you! Subscribed.

Brilliant explanation. All I could think was "feedback loop" - thankfully you reminded me how a mixer works!

Question man: why instead of going back from the looper to the mixer you dont go directly from the looper to a passive speaker? Thank you!

Thanks for this. Super helpful. GOing to go see if it works with my current mixer.

Thanks Ben I have been struggling with same set up using a Bose TS 8. To no satisfaction. This may be the answer. I am also considering a Behringer XR 18

I have a Presonus AR8c, I’ll
need some cables to try but I’m wondering if I could accomplish the same thing? Do you have to go analog—like with the Yamaha mixer used here—for this to work well?

Hello thank you for the video! I have some questions. I have a boss rc-30 and would like to use a mixer for multiple instruments.

1.For this setup can I then send the signal to an audio interface?
2. I have guitar effects that i would like to incorporate. Am i able to incorporate pedals into this setup.
3. Do i need to use ts cable or trs cables or does it even matter?

Sorry for all the questions lol. Im a beginner as you can tell.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have recently purchased a MG12XU and have followed your guidance with the group out to RC300 etc.. My only stumbling black is when it comes to plugging in headphones into the mixer. All recorded sound is extremely quiet compared to through signal. Would you know of a work around? I'm currently plugging the headphones in the mixers additional stereo out, but that has its limitations due to audio level being exactly the same as overall sound. Hope that make sense. Any advice, very much appreciated 🙏

Can you do something similar with the MG10XUF?

Incredible, you are a master, greetings from Nicaragua, Central America, I wanted to know how to connect an RC-300 to the 1202fx console and make all the channels LOOP, using the FX, but without losing the effects of the console, just bring the loop signal to the console, I don't know if I make myself understood, bring the loop pedal signal to the console, but continue using the effects of this same console, I would appreciate your help

Hey Ben how you doing. I have a boss RC-202 with the mic hooked to it a guitar and a overdrive pedal. How would I run it to the mixer out to a PA. How would I hook that up to be recorded on the looper and come out the PA. If you can please let me know. Thanks Ben

nice video thanks ! quick question . what's the benefit of sending the output back into the mixer instead of just sending to FOH /speakers via your loops-station ?

Hi there. Thanks so much for this. I have the Yamaha 10 (a size smaller) and whenever I plug into the RC 505 MK2 and then into another mixer or speaker, there is lots of static that is there only when I use the microphones. I’m curious if the “group” capability on the 12 is what eliminates that? Curious as to your thoughts.

Thanks so much for all your help.

Hey I have a question that doesn't seem to have been addressed yet: the aux outs that you use are balanced outs which you send to unbalanced inputs of the rc300...surely you need a reamp box in that part of the signal chain? Are you just using TS cables and have you had any issues with that aspect of your setup?
Also, on another of your videos you said that the output of the rc300 is mp3 quality but boss say its 16bit 44.1khz?
I'm just trying to get my setup wired correctly at the moment so would be handy to know, but the mixer thing has helped so far! I just get a lot of noise at the moment

Can you do this using the boss 505 instead?
