For anyone interested it takes 12 of each stone to reach +12, this will cost you a total of 100, 800 runes from no upgrade.

For anyone having difficulties with the crystal bosses just hold block and when they hit you, tap heavy attack for a heavy counter it instantly breaks their poise and then you can get the critical off them

One of the most important guides for this game. No matter what your build is, if your weapon is trash, you're gonna get shredded. Those later bosses don't care.

Lol, for that crystal boss, I just kept back stabbing it with my uchi and eventually it’s shell cracked, it took longer than it should have, but the boss got beat so…..

you can get bell bearings for normal smithing stones all the way up to 8 for +24 weapons.
