I saw an old reel of you trying to decide to keep Marlow. It’s nice to see that you kept her & still fostering another pup.

This was informative.I'm an old woman with a 10 year old Chihuahua. Since relocating to an apartment he's become fear reactive and grabbed a few people. Another biter was forced to be put down and I'm always stressed. I can't afford ongoing training but he has seen a behavioral therapist. She suggested muzzle training. But she said if he never gets there to never force it on him. Poor little guys been through so much in his life and he's so afraid of everyone. I need to do this for him

we're doing this now too and we're stuck with putting her face in so thank you so so so much for sharing. you've always been my go to resource and my dogs [and my life] are better because of you. I bet all 500k plus people can say the same exact thing. how cool is that. thank you so much Rachel [and Bentley and Finny and Marlowe AND Wally]

I love you intelligent, in tune, sensitivity and respectful approach to animals. This is the best way to avoid traumatizing our pet friends. I hate forceful-fast impatient people. Your energy is beautiful❤

Thank you. Vets started the back office shots about 5 years ago. My dog and cat were fine receiving their shots with us present in the exam area. Since selling out to the big corps our pets have to go to the back which has caused our animals problems with unnecessary stress . They truly fear it back there .
Thanks for the video ; we have to muzzle train now

I just love the way you train your pups and have learned so much from your videos. I found you when we got our golden doodle 3.5 years ago and you have been a life saver! He is now such a well behaved boy- in large part thanks to the great videos on your channel! Thank you!

Yes, I would love to see how Marlow trims her nails. My dog doesn’t like her paws touched. Thanks

Muzzles get a bad rep for no good reason since there's so many helpful uses for them as you mentioned..! I've recently adopted a senior dog and we're going to the vet quite often. He ends up in a muzzle every time no matter what we're doing - he's just so scared and tries to bite. :/ I thought i'd train him to wear one at home, so that he'd be more comfortable with one in general and also we can put it on at home right before going to the vet and thus eliminate that one extra stressor in the office. 🤎 Maybe we'll even try to have it on on a walk to get some extra space from other people, i never thought of that 🙃 But i have to say it might not matter that much since he's a tiny 13lb little man. :D

do you have any videos about leash fear? my dog so terrified of the leash also ever since he was smaller and i think he associates it with the vet and i would love to get him used to the leash.

Great video, and I agree no one knows what their pet is thinking

This video was so so helpful! My dog is muzzle training bc he has taken to obsessively hunting/eating cicadas! He has a bad stomach so thats really not good for him. I had thought of muzzle training before but didn’t have a reason since he behaves very well at the vet and the groomer. Wish I had done it just in case a weird situation like this came up 😅

Please show how to train with the scratch board. I have one but can't get my nervous boston boxer to use it.😊

I just ordered one from muzzle movement in Great Britain. They make muzzles that provide panting room

Any ideas on how to best end a training session with a senior dog who couldn't care less about any kind of playing..? 🐶😅
