Toni, my 90 year old mother was working on a throw twelve years ago when she suddenly had open heart surgery. The incomplete throw went into a bag and this month my mom rediscovered her unfinished project BUT she forgot how to do the stitch. She is a visual learner and the written book she had was simply, now, confusing. She described what the stitch was and I went searching through YouTube. This lovely video of yours popped up, I sat her in front of my computer and I FF to the first row. She had two AH-HA moments, remembered what she forgot, and bounced into her sitting room. I went on to watch a few vlogs I had in my watch list when she burst back into my room with the project and showed me four NEW ROWS she completed that were identical to the previous rows created over twelve years ago. To tell you the truth, there are not many ways to make a 90 year old woman happy, BUT YOU DID. THANK YOU!

My grandmother grabbed so much yarn and hooks thinking she'd get into crocheting and knitting and never did. She found out I got into it and gave me a bunch of stuff like bags and bags of yarn and hooks and one is a Tunisian crochet hook and I started squealing lol she had no idea how happy I would get. I've been really low on money(couldn't afford my hobby) and I've never had a Tunisian crochet hook I was about to cry. She was saying that if she knew I would get so happy she would have waited for Christmas cuz she doesn't know if she could top that 😂😂

I love how you explain the "why's". I'm a why person- like why do you only pull thru 1 loop on the 1st chain, then 2 for the remainder... the why's help me to understand and actually learn vs memorizing...you explained many why's and i appreciate it. Keep up the great tutorials!!!

Have you ever tried to learn something, you buy books, you watch video's and it just never sinks in. Then one day, you come across a yarn review. The reviewer is so good, so entertaining, you subscribe to her channel as you feel like you are sitting with a friend and she is talking directly to you. Her smile is infectious, and you cant help but smile too. You watch her make these lovely swatches. Tunisian crochet! The one stitch that you just could not pick up from books, from other videos, this wonderful lady shows you in and a few minutes, you too can now do it!!

I can not thank you enough, this is something I have been trying to learn for a long time and just couldn’t get. Your teaching skills? Perfection and just what I needed. I cant tell you how tickled I am to now be able to do this. I plan on watching the rest of this videos so I can pick up the variations and different patterns. You made my day, my week, my month! :)

I have taken regular crochet in person classes and tried to learn on YouTube. It has been very frustrating as the teachers will do 3-4 slow stitches and then whip through the rest of the row. Here, the teacher for Tunisian Crochet goes slow on each row and talks through what she is doing for each stitch. What an amazing experience! Being successful immediately is very rewarding.

"Look at you, you're the best!" 😂❤ I genuinely love the positive encouragement as though we are all right there with you. Thank you for this very in-depth lesson! I've wanted to expand my fiber arts to Tunisian Crochet for awhile now. I think has given me everything I need to get started. 😊

You are doing a very nice job teaching this. Your speed is excellent, your tone and voice is calm and relaxing and your explanations are nicely detailed. I am a very experienced crocheter but have never tried Tunisian crochet. Going to give it a try thanks to your lesson. Keep up the great work! You have inspired me!

I love how calming you are. It's so soothing to listen to your voice while I learn a new yarn craft. I've crocheted for over 25 years and have decided to challenge myself and learn Tunisian Crochet. I love your videos and how encouraging you are, thank you. 🥰

I can see I'm not alone in thinking this is THE best instructional video I have ever seen of ANY sort. Thank you for speaking clearly, and not rushing through. You explain things so thoroughly that it's easy to understand the structure of the piece. Plus you have a most soothing voice, which is a huge plus. Thank you a ton! I wish I'd seen this before I started my temperature blanket!!

OMG, I love this channel so much. This was my first time attempting Tunisian crochet and I am hooked! Pun fully intended... :) I had been so intimidated by Tunisian and this was so much easier than I expected. You are such an amazing teacher! Perfect speed, perfect explanations! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into these videos. I really appreciate it and YOU.

This has to be the absolute best beginner's "how to" video I've ever seen. Thank you so much! You explain it perfectly and go slowly enough so that I can follow.

I recently picked up crochet again after YEARS of not doing it, and you have quickly become my favorite crochet channel to watch. Your voice is so comforting and your videos are honestly so calming to watch. I like to play them while I’m working on my projects, and hearing you talk really soothes my anxiety ☺️

I also JUST discovered Tunisian crochet and I’m OBSESSED! I love the look of knit but the simplicity of crochet, so this is the perfect style for me I think. Thanks for helping me figure it out as I go 😊

Doing this style of crochet feels simpler and more natural than "regular" crochet! I'm glad I found your videos!

Toni, I came across your channel because I heard a lot of talk about tunisian crochet and so I went browsing YouTube. Thank you for making it so easy to understand.
