It turned out beautiful. As far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as over prep. We may be anxious to get onto the good part but it's the prep that signifies the quality of the job. Worth all the effort.

More and more folks on YouTube are reaching for the shellac as a primer. Unfortunately, I work in a small space without much ventilation, so I go with the 123 primer. It works great and is perfect for the space. But when summer comes I will be trying the shellac. Also I watched a video where she compared all the paints (after sanding and
priming). Just as u stated the chalk paint lasted through all types of scratches, etc. So I do almost all of my furniture, and smalls with chalk paint. And they all are as intact as the first day I painted them.
Love yr content and have sub'd for quite a while. Thx for sharing!

You are amazing. I personally love using a sprayer over brushing. You save 90% of time.

I tried my neighbors spray gun and fell in love from the moment I used it. I haven’t purchased one and I’d like something small and portable . Still looking

Very thorough, I like it! Do you think the last polyurethane coat would be good enough for kitchen cabinets that are in high use? I want to paint my laminate kitchen cabinets and I'm wondering if this will work.

I just painted my first laminate furniture with shellac primer and chalk paint. Turns out, I'm not a fan of the color and will repaint. Do I need to prime again before painting again?

I’m a little surprised that you didn’t replace that side brace.

what is the name of the "scuff sander" you use (which is padded on bottom) and where do you buy it?

Do you recommend scuff sanding the laminate? I hear that I should and should not... help!

Are all chalk paints (say rustoleum) just as good on furniture or just the brand you use?
