If you're new here, welcome to watching me cook! I'm not a chef, it's just a username! Takes you 3 seconds to look at my profile 💕

If you want to learn how I record 🎥 and edit all my videos, I posted a series on my TikTok channel which walks you through it.

Not from Canada but lived extremely north in Maine. I can confirm it comes from a regional plant and is in fact delicious

The gravy tree has the best history though. Old French dairy farmers were clearing fields for grazing when they found this sister to the Spruce. The First Nations taught them how to use needles to prevent scurvy, so the New Franks thought the sap would be healthy too. While it's not healthy, it definitely helps in those long winters.

Strangely i first had poutine in Phoenix, AZ when i worked at the state fair. The vendors were from Canada, and did the fair circuit. It waz delicious. Always happy to see them when they returned every year.

I can confirm that the gravy in poutine is grown on the tree

There is so much you can do to spice them up. I live in Canada Ontario. We have every single kind of poutine you can ever imagine. Steak sub poutine. Cheese burger poutine its obviously fries, cheese, and gravey but also toppings from said steak sub or cheese burger add ground beef on top etc. You can custom that shit with anything. Look up Smokes poutinery. Its delicious.

When i was an otr truck driver i stopped at a restaurant outside of delaware and they were serving poutine. I had never heard of it but after hearing what it was i gave it a try and thought it was great. A little greasy but i enjoyed it.

It is literally the best food on earth. If you come up north try it out, especially when you are cold or drunk or both.

We get are poutine from the tree on the front lawn and the cheese curds from the bush in the backyard although the ones from the vine do melt better

As a native of Vermont US, we’re just American Canada and can confirm that poutine is both great, and might as well be our state dish given our vicinity to Quebec and the influx of French Canadians we get
