I just got my serger cleaned, $165.00! The repairman told me only to use new good thread because those fuzzie things you are talking about break off inside the machine and will clog up your machine. I try not to buy thread from China/Amazon because when I get it, it turns out to be cheap and poorly made…..waste of money.
