Great information. The demo at first is showing someone applying Teflon tape backwards. Much easier to unroll the tape with tension. Thank You for the video.

Swagelok makes great products. We use them on many of our modular process systems. Keep up the great work!

Someone will make a lot of money if they can develop an app that will let your phone camera scan the thread and then give the readout of all it's details without having to use a tool and look it up in a book. Guess I am just that lazy.

So a 10x1.25 tap that comes in a tap and die set is different than the tap used for thread repair?

So will these thread pitch gauges work on sheet metal and wood screws as well as on machine screws?

I threaded my first pipe today but the original ones that were already done that I bought were 20mm on the outside and is being sold as DN15 from China. The pipe that I bought at the home depot afterwards is 21.3mm
Used 1/2" die and wrench with oil but it was not easy. Do you think I'm killing my die or is the 20mm not the normal standard?

After I threaded the pipe it does fit although the outside differs more than 1mm. It's more for a Steampunk artwork so it doesn't have to do something important like heating.
