Tunisia refugees: Sub-Saharan Africans face racist attacks

Criticism is mounting over racial attacks against sub-Saharan Africans in Tunisia.
Last month, President Kais Saied claimed there was a 'criminal plot' to change the country's demographics through irregular refugees.
Now, many African refugees want to leave, citing physical and verbal abuse.

Sub saharan Africa is a derogatory term. Al jazeera please use Africa South of the Sahara or better still Greater Africa Region. The Sahara is a desert and sub means inferior. Sub-sahara therefore paints a picture of desolation.

Alot of misinformation, it's not about skin color, Tunisia is going through an economic crisis and lacks security the last thing they should do is accept illegal immigrants who they don't know anything about their history, Europe keeps deporting illegal north african migrants and no one talks about it . If Africans had a well developped country they wouldn't let refugees in either it's just human nature (not saying Tunisia is a developped country but you get the point ) .
