What do you think of these longer travel videos? Should I do more of this length or keep them short?

When a video is about 10 mins it feels like it's a special video. So I think videos like that are fine everyonce in a while. You can tell you're watching a special segment.

I would like to see longer 8 or 9 minute segments, everything you show is awesome, you should really be doing your own network tv program. The beautiful videography that you have shown us in the past is awesome!

Honestly I prefer two shorter videos over one long video. They keep me more engaged and also if I want to go back to watch a video about a certain place, it's much easier to find what I am look for (information about the place, or something that I enjoyed watching). I vote for short and sweet!
Also, this is my first time commenting on a video, but I have been following your videos for a while. I find them very useful and interesting as I will come to Seoul to study in a few months!

I would like the longer videos. Your editing and manner are such that I don't think you'd need to change your approach to hold interest, certainly not my interest. I would enjoy having a sense of the variety of your day. Having said that, if you and others prefer the short videos, they're terrific as they are also.

Hmmm, good question! I watch too many people and sometimes get overloaded. However when the short ones end, I am always left wanting more. More of the history, culture & activities. Below there was a comment asking you to make both - that sounds like a pain for you, but is a fascinating idea. I will often watch videos rather than television or playing games, so both are good, although long ones do often get set aside for a few days.

I sometimes will use videos like yours for motivation in speaking classes, so I prefer the shorter format. It's just my opinion, though!

The shorter ones seem to give a taste of the place, leaving more room for people to go and experience it on their own...

It all depends on what my subscription load is for that day. Sometimes long videos get put aside so long they go away. I guess I have no preference but time keeps me from long ones sometimes.

That's a tough one since your content is really good. I think 4-5 min is a good length for this medium. You can tell a lot in 5 minutes and I like the fact that they were pieced out.

I totally think you should keep the length of the videos between 4 and 5 minutes, and then put extra footage into one long segment and post that on a separate channel. Your editing sense already knows how much should go into one video, but if people want to see more, that should be a supplementary option.

I like to watch shorter videos in the morning, so I like videos around 10 minutes or shorter. :) Keep up the good work Steve!

When you make a four or five minute video I'm always hungry for more so that a nine or ten minute edition of great cinematography like yours and interesting explanations of places that I've never heard of would still be a treat to watch... However, I will tell you what I tell everyone else. Make the kind of videos you like to watch and enjoy making.

I like the one longer one rather than two short ones. I often eat while watching youtube these days and the longer videos are perfect for that. :)
