I Need Your Feedback

I friends, sorry for the lack of videos lately, I've had a combination of colds and allergies that have rendered me unable to sing very well.

This is a short video of me asking you for your feedback. I would like to upload videos more often but honestly I just don't have the time if I want to do it to the standard that I have been doing up until now. I'm currently working on my E.P and being a dad of two kids and having a beautiful wife who needs my support, there are only so many things I can do creatively.

So here is my question:

Would you rather I uploaded one a month and maintaining the current standard of video or would you prefer more regular videos but with lesser focus on production?

Please let me know your thoughts guys.

Would it be possible for you to do tutorials on how to play songs every once in a while? Your guitar playing and voice are absolutely stunning, you have such talent. I would really appreciate that and I think that might be a great way to grow your channel if you're looking to do so!

I'm leaning more towards the once a month, but you don't have to give yourself just these two options. Perhaps once every 2 or 3 weeks would be a nice compromise, but if that's not possible then I'd prefer a monthly upload. You could always experiment and evaluate the feedback after doing a weekly video to see how it goes, and switch back to monthly uploads if it's not working out. Try and see what works best!

Something else that might be worth noting is that I'm fairly sure the YouTube algorithm greatly favours more frequent uploads, so you'd doubtless see greater channel growth with weekly uploads. I'm sure everyone will be supportive reagrdless of what you pick, and like I said, you could always compromise or test weekly videos for a month and see what happens!

Personally I think you should do what is convenient for you. If once a week is too much of a jump from once a month then that's understandable and you should stick to once a month. It's your channel so you need to enjoy it, if once a week is going to be a burden and you're going to get to the filming and think "I'm so tired and done with this" then it's not worth the jump. Hope the decision making goes well x

if the focus is to grow the channel, quantity. do high quality every so often and smash out the quick n dirty vids (which I know will still be good) regularly to keep the views up which will result in YouTube sharing your channel more.

Honestly, man, my advice is to just do what you think is best. What do your instincts tell you? If you feel like making fewer videos of higher quality would satisfy you more, do that. If you'd be happier posting more videos more often, then do that. If you want to try experimenting with a bit of each until you get a better feel for which you'd prefer, do that. Don't overthink it. (Side note... Where I'm from we have a saying: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Your videos and your channel are wonderful just the way they are.) And thank you, by the way. Lovely tunes. try to make good videos so you don't have to upload a video once a week or a month just make your video and if you think that everything is done upload the video on YouTube...that would be my advice;)
