Simple question. If the XRPL was forked and a bridge currency is needed then couldn’t the central banks simply create a new crypto to run on the forked XRPL? Why do they need XRP as the bridge currency? I understand that Ripple values XRP. That doesn’t mean the central banks will value or use XRP.

I don’t understand, why is there even a possibility of a fine to Ripper? As far as I can see, Ripple and XRP are 2 different entities with a symbiotic relationship. This is a frivolous lawsuit, if SEC even get Ripple to pay a fine, this will only encourage SEC in whatever witch hunt they are doing or going to do 😂
