The judge has control of the Ripple case until August 23rd or somewhere thereabouts, only the judge can make the call until that date even if SEC says otherwise. Not sure exactly where I saw this but DYOR. Hopefully the judge isn't one of those spiteful Dems.

Ripple could be encouraged to give the XRP to the government, if not bring back Gary. If Ripple 'gives' their XRP to the govt, what's
to stop the govt to take yours? The govt did take the citizens gold in 1933...

if the escrow is off RIpple's books, then supply is decreased. We just need a guarantee (like US can't sell for 10 years and only so much annually at that); this way the US can't rug pull us. Decreased supply should jack the price of each xrp up....IMO, that is a strategic reserve.

I agree it would be nice if the treasury buys XRP on the open market it would be financially benefitting immediately. But in no way is the treasury buying XRP OTC going to negatively impact the price of XRP in the near future.
There may be a whole lot of benefits to Ripple donating XRP over the treasury having to buy it.
