The SIF (Special Initiative for Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees) component of GIZ Civil Peace Service Program in Kenya is working in corporation with Kituo cha Sheria to contribute to the prevention of Internal displacement. Within this cooperation the idea to produce an animation movie based on the existing publication “Real Talk: This can happen to anyone of us” was born. The film informs about internal displacement in Kenya in a simplified, innovative and appealing way. It explains the different causes for displacements and the challenges Internal Displaced Persons might face as well as the existing national legal frame works.
