The fact that you can tell that Matt looks so done with trying to get the scene done in the actual scene is hilarious. It's even worse because the first take looked great and he had his signature Robbie look going on and then they had to ruin it by being adamant that she had to say part when role is a literal synonym to part.

Why was the director being so uptight, those words are very interchangeable. 😂

Edit: Someone said the character is very specific in how she talks. So I guess it just had to be precise in order for the line to seem more authentic for the character.

Victorious bloopers make me so uncomfortable, they always seem so genuinely nervous/scared when they mess up.

Role and part are literally synonyms. I don't think Ariana needed to get corrected for that. It might not have been the exact wording in the script, but it was close enough. With acting, if you mess up a line but it's close enough to what you were supposed to say, nobody typically mentions it, and the scene shooting goes on. I don't know what Dan's problem with this was, but there wasn't a need for her to continue shooting this line over and over again. She looked pretty scared and stressed at times too.

As an actor, it’s extremely unlikely they would care, but if they did they definitely wouldn’t interrupt the scene. They’d finish it and correct you after. Everything about the production of this show was so weird

As an English major, I can confirm that “role” and “part” are literally synonyms in this context. Everyone knows that 😂 I don’t get why it matters so much which one she says. Poor Cat. 😢😂

This is even worse when you know what's actually going on behind the scenes. All of these kids were mistreated and the guy in charge of the show was a complete creep. It's no wonder she was genuinely upset and even looked a bit fearful when she didn't get it right.
